BVQI
The Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular (FAA AC 00-56A), establishes a Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program for civil aircraft parts distributors. According to the AC 00-56A, “...accreditation of a distributor’s quality system... conveys an assurance that the parts a customer receives are of the quality stated, the appropriate documentation is on file at the distributor’s place of business, and the distributor is able to maintain the quality system.”

Aerotechnic South Africa is certified by BVQI to the “FAA AC00-56A” stocking and distribution of aircraft parts and services.

We are the first company in South Africa to be qualified by BVQI to the FAA AC00-56A, Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program, and we are listed in the database for accredited distributors receiving accreditation under the provision of FAA AC00-56A. The FAA has designed the Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) as the Managers of the database.
