Quality Assurance

EN 9120:2003

BVQI
Because safety is paramount, few industries demand such exacting quality assurance standards as aerospace.

The manufacturers, suppliers and service companies who succeed in this highly competitive, global market are those who view quality management as a key business initiative. They can demonstrate their commitment, responsibility and expertise through independent AS/EN 9100 certification.

The AS/EN 9100 initiative was developed in 1997 by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) to promote international quality, safety and technology standards across all aspects of air transport. Based on the essential requirements of ISO 9000, AS/EN 9100 has been adapted to meet the complex and unique demands of the aerospace industry, from commercial aviation to defence.

Certification can be applied to virtually all areas and throughout the entire supply chain including the design and manufacture of equipment, aircraft accessory supply, airport and airline operations, replacement parts, supply and maintenance, overhaul and repair depots, flight operations, cargo handling and more.

Aerotechnic France is certified by BVQI to the “EN 9120:2003” trade, stocking and distribution of aircraft parts and equipments, aeronautic technical services.

BVQI actively promotes AS/EN 9100 certification globally through the AAQG in USA and EAQG (AECMA) in Europe (using EN 9100 SERIE). As we move towards the 21st century, AS/EN 9100 compliance is becoming an essential requirement throughout the aerospace industry.
